LOST IN SPACE

832de15d79d421037eea38054c623b9e.jpg(by TOM FINNIGAN / Source : Heritage Foundation – Washington) Last Thursday, the same day NASA confirmed that two of its astronauts had shown up to work drunk, the Government Accountability Office released a report exposing a startling “lack of accountability” within the agency that has led to the loss of more than $94 million in equipment over the last 10 years. The GAO audit, which found significant deficiencies in NASA’s “internal controls,” makes one wonder whether astronauts aren’t the only ones drinking on the job over at NASA.
