(By Aunk - USA) What is the penalty for hollering fire in a crowded cultural theater? What should the Nation do about Palin mob type Cultural Terrorism? At the Dawn of America, cultural humanist and anti-humanist were present. The Humanist won the war of words - The Constitution - and the anti-humanist won the war on the ground, laws enslaving other human beings to make money. The American challenge has been to overcome its birth defect and move toward that more perfect union, despite the fact that anti-humanists live among us. This election has moved us in that direction however, to say that we have gone Post "Racial" would be over statement at best, foolhardy to the overly optimistic and downright dangerous to the President Elect and African Americans in general at worst.

A quelques jours du scrutin, le parti démocrate avance à pas feutrés. L’écart creusé par Barack Obama s’est certes consolidé sur la plan national et dans la majorité des «battleground states», pour autant, le sénateur de l’Illinois et ses partisans se sont pas sans savoir qu’avant la proclamation officielle des résultats rien n’est jamais véritablement joué. Effet Bradley, machines à voter défaillantes, incident national ou crise internationale de dernière minute… la liste des péripéties potentielles ou fantasmées s’ajoute à celle plus traditionnelle de l’état d’esprit des électeurs. Les jeunes électeurs seront-ils au rendez-vous avec l’enthousiasme pressenti? Les dernières attaques du camp républicain sur la distribution des richesses auront-elles fait mouche parmi les électeurs indécis? Les Etats du Sud, bastions républicains (Floride Virginie, Caroline du Nord,) peuvent-ils véritablement basculer dans le giron démocrate? A cette série d’incertitudes s’est ajoutée cette semaine la crainte d’une attaque extrémiste venant créer la panique à la veille du scrutin.
